Dr. Marie Levine
An area native and Clifton High School graduate, Dr. Marie Levine received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Monclair State College in 1975 and became certified to teach Science from K-12 in the New Jersey school system. She taught public school for two and a half years before deciding to pursue her current career. Her teaching experiences with young children have provided her with the necessary background and desire to be successful in working with children with learning difficulties. In 1982, she graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, then came to Rutherford to establish our practice.
Dr. Levine is very involved in continuing education so that she can maintain the highest standards in modern eye care. She is a member of the AOA (American Optometric Association), the NJSOP (New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians), the OEP Foundation and Vision USA (a volunteer program that provides eye care for working, low-income families). Dr. Levine is also busy at home; as she has two daughters aged 17 and 12 years.



Dr. Diane Adamczyk, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Dr. Adamczyk is also an area native. She attended Villanova University and graduated in 1981 with her undergraduate degree. In 1985, she graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Her residency was fulfilled at Newington Veteran's Administration Hospital in Newington, Connecticut. Since then she has been in private practice.
Dr. Adamczyk is on staff at the New York College of Optometry as an Associate Professor and is the former Chief of Primary Care Services. She is the current Director of the Externship and Residency Program. As well as being the author of numerous articles, she is the co-author of the textbook, Primary Eye Care and Systemic Disease. She has lectured nationally and internationally. She is also a member of the AOA (American Optometric Association), the NJSOP (New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians), the NYOA (New York Optometric Association) and the AAO (American Academy of Optometry). In addition, Dr. Adamczyk is a Low Vision Specialist working with patients who have sub-normal vision.
